For the family tree, I took Sterkell as family name for the first three generations. Starting from the fourth generation I took Stoerkel/Störkel, although this way of spelling was used later, starting at about 1800. Before that there had been a change from "e" to "oe/ö", from two "l" to one "l" and sometimes there is a "ck" instead of a simple "k". For our American relatives I took the name in the same manner as they spell it by themselves today, for example "Starkel" or Stoerkel".
For the actual generation, I have masked the names, besides for myself and for my father, even for those names which I am aware of. I am happy to disclose names but I am expecting the dedicated permission of the individual persons for doing that.
A real gap is the 20th century. The church books which are currently public only reach until 1912. I would be very pleased if I could get more information here.
Currently, the family tree consists of about 700 Stoerkels. As of now, the representation is not at optimum but I will improve this.
